Who we are

• MG Event Home sells event and home decor in Ghana: items in stock locally, preorders shipped from China, rentals and event design.
• We are responsible for the personal details you give us on this website. You can reach us on +233 20 227 8412 or mgimportations7@gmail.com.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, phone number, email (optional), and your delivery address if you choose delivery. We also keep what you ordered, the amounts and your payment status.
• When you send a request for rentals, event design or a quote: your name, contact details, event date and the details you write in the form.
• Payments: card and mobile money payments are made on Paystack. We never see or store your card number, PIN or mobile money PIN. Paystack tells us only whether the payment went through.
• Basic technical information, such as your IP address, used briefly to keep the site secure and stop abuse (for example, too many attempts in a short time).
• We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your details.

How we use it

• To take your order or booking, get your items to you and give you an order page to track it.
• To text or email you about your order: confirmation, arrival from China, pickup or delivery, and anything due.
• To answer your questions, handle refunds and keep the records the law requires for sales.
• We don't use your phone number or email for marketing unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the shop, and only what each one needs:

• Paystack: to take your card or mobile money payment and process refunds.
• mNotify: to send order texts to your phone.
• Resend: to send order emails, if you gave us an email.
• Google Firebase: where this website and its records are hosted and stored securely.
• A delivery rider gets your name, phone number and address when you choose delivery.
• We may also share details if the law requires it, for example with tax or law-enforcement authorities.

On your device

• Your cart and, to save retyping, the contact details you last used at checkout are kept in your own browser. They stay on your device until you place an order.
• After you order, a small cookie lets this device open your order page. It is needed for the site to work and is not used for tracking or ads.
• Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

How long we keep it

• We keep order and payment records for as long as we need them to deliver your order, handle refunds and meet accounting and tax rules.
• Request and enquiry details are kept while we handle your request and for a reasonable time afterwards, in case you come back to us about it.
• Our team's access to customer details is limited to the people who need them to serve you.

Your choices

• You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or ask us to delete them. We delete them unless we must keep them for an open order, a refund or the law.
• To ask, contact us using the phone number or email on the order. Have your order number ready so we can confirm it's you.
• Your rights are protected by Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
• If we change this policy, we update it here and change the date at the top.
